Here is a very quick write-up of the ARB differential cover installation.
This was a day after work. It also is the same snow hills I have talked about in the past. I swear they were much bigger then. Maybe they melted. I'm just glad I had the camera with me for a change. I hope you enjoy these few pictures.
I finally got to use my winch today! The snow has been melting and I ventured out into what I knew was iffy footing. An hour into my limit pushing... it pushed back. I found a hollow where the snow melted under the top layer. The front tires dropped through the snow and Audrey sat promptly on her belly. Her frame sat on the compacted snow with nothing under her spinning tires but air. Thanks to the winch I was crawling around and climbing snow hills in short order. This picture is of my trusty onboard tool bag.
You know how some people say that positive attitude brings positive things and negative bring the bad? Here is a little ditty that you may enjoy. As some of you know, we shipped Audrey from Texas (where we purchased her) to Wisconsin (where we are raising her). One of the first things I did was to remove the dealers sticker from the windshield. Imagine my surprise when I find a chip in the glass right under the tape holding the sticker in place. (Pictured below)I think I would have been within my rights to get upset and utter some profanities. After all, the dealer must have noticed the chip while he taped his sticker on the windshield magically concealing the chip from view. Instead... I took a deep breath and decided that since it was not likely to fracture any further, I would call it personality. Positive thinking right? Then why did we deserve this?
